The Opportunity

This is not a typical sales role. As the first commercial hire in the Dutch market, you'll play a key role in establishing and scaling the company's local sales operation. You'll own the complete sales cycle, convert inbound opportunities into customers, and help shape the sales strategy, processes, and playbook from the ground up.

If you're entrepreneurial, enjoy building something from scratch, and want a genuine pathway into sales leadership, this role offers the opportunity to grow into Sales Lead and ultimately Head of Sales as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full sales cycle from first conversation through to closing
Convert inbound enquiries into long-term customers
Qualify prospects and understand their business needs
Build strong relationships based on trust and consultative selling
Adapt and refine sales messaging for the Dutch market
Develop scalable sales processes, qualification frameworks, and best practices
Manage pipeline activity and sales KPIs within the CRM
Collaborate with Product, Customer Care, and Insurance teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience
Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and commercial performance
Contribute to building the future Dutch sales team and commercial strategy

Ideal Candidate

2–4 years of experience in B2B sales
Experience within a fast-growing startup, scale-up, SaaS, FinTech, InsurTech, or technology environment is highly desirable
Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to build trust and guide customers through complex buying decisions
Comfortable owning the full sales cycle
Entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine "builder" mentality
Structured, proactive, and highly self-motivated
Fluent in Dutch (C2) and English
Excited by the opportunity to grow into a commercial leadership position
