We’re looking for an HR Manager who’s excited to roll up their sleeves and help build a people-first experience from the inside out. This isn’t a narrow role, you’ll have your hands in everything from onboarding/offboarding to performance to payroll, helping shape how our team grows and thrives.

This role is hybrid in Wichita, KS—Onsite about once a week (or every other week) to stay connected and collaborative.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle and HR Operations

Manage and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience
Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR processes are compliant and efficient
Help build and improve processes as we grow

Drive Performance & Growth

Lead performance review cycles, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback processes
Partner with leaders to support development, feedback, and team health
Jump in on employee relations and help solve problems with empathy and clarity

Keep Things Running Behind the Scenes

Oversee payroll to make sure everything is accurate and on time
Help us stay compliant across states without slowing us down
Support reporting, audits, and the details that keep everything solid

Support Benefits & People Programs

Manage benefits and be the friendly expert employees can turn to
Work with vendors to keep our offerings competitive and meaningful
Contribute ideas to make our people programs better

What You Bring

4+ years of HR experience across multiple areas (you’ve worn a few hats before)
Comfort with both strategy and execution—you can think big and get things done
Experience with multi-state payroll and compliance
Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
Great communication skills and a genuinely people-first mindset
