We are currently seeking a proactive Cyber Security Engineer with proven technical expertise to help safeguard and strengthen our technological environment. A strong sense of ownership, critical thinking skills, and the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution are key to thriving in this position!

What You’ll Do

As an integral member of our Technical Services Department, the Cyber Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security policies across systems and networks. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a secure, resilient infrastructure that supports our overall business objectives.

You’ll Be Expected To

Monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to system logs, vulnerabilities, security incidents, and support tickets.
Lead and coordinate security testing efforts, including vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and social engineering exercises with internal teams and external vendors.
Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends to proactively defend against evolving threats and mitigate risks.
Support system resilience through backup/recovery strategies, patch management, and high availability initiatives.
Document, track, and drive remediation efforts while providing training, guidance, and support to IT staff and end users.

SCHEDULE + WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Full-time: Monday - Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm
Location: On-site in our Bethlehem, PA office
Flexibility: May work from home up to 2 days per week

Annual Salary: $92k - $100k, commensurate with experience

Requirements

The successful candidate is naturally curious and continuously seeks out new knowledge to adapt to an ever-evolving landscape. You can collaborate effectively across teams, communicate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, and remain calm under pressure when responding to incidents.

Education & Experience

Bachelors (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year College or technical school.
Minimum 6 - 8 years related experience and/or training; or
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Direct experience with following systems (or comparable tools): Qualys, BitWarden, Varonis, MS Defender
